Job Description

Childcare teacher is to provide care for children 6wks to 12yrs of age. As a childcare teacher, you are responsible for the well-being of the children under your care. This includes ensuring the child’s basic needs are met, such as grooming, sanitizing toys and play areas, introduction to new age-appropriate toys and activities, social and emotional interactions, and physical play. Ultimately, a childcare teacher will cultivate a safe and loving environment that is conducive to growth and learning.

Qualifications

  • First Aid CPR and SIDS will be provided

  • Background check with Fingerprints clear result

  • Childcare professional certification preferred (CCP)
    SIDS

  • Highschool GED minimum

  • Child care experience preferred

Skills

  • Strong conflict resolution skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Understanding of childhood development

  • Ability to lift 40lbs

  • Ability to rise and lower for the accommodation of active play with children
